OUR STORY
FATHER
Jerry Odom’s hands have created beauty for as long as anyone can remember. For more than 30 years he was the go-to guy for car upholstery—from masterfully restoring full car interiors to stitching one-of-a-kind designs. Then, in 2013, Jerry was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Little by little, he began shutting down his decades-old shop.
DAUGHTER
There are two things Stephanie will always associate with her childhood in Alabama: her mother’s cooking and her father’s upholstery machines. This self-proclaimed Daddy’s Girl grew up watching her dad do something he loved every day. So, when that “something” began to be taken away, she knew she had to help replace it.
FATHER DAUGHTER
Hoping to give her father a new outlet for his talents, and to keep their bond strong, Stephanie began looking for a way to combine her keen eye for fashion with her dad’s leatherworking skills. It wasn’t long before the two were back in the shop. Today, Father Daughter offers an entire collection of one-of-a-kind leather bags—each handmade by Jerry Odom himself.
